These clinical seminar/workshops provide a primer for psychologists and mental health professionals working with children, adolescents and families. The seminars explores current issues related to conceptualisation, assessment, diagnosis and treatment planning for some of the most challenging and complex childhood psychopathologies. The emphasis is on integrating the findings of recent clinical research into our daily work with children and families. The seminars are designed to meet the requirements of those seeking Active CPD credit with national health registration boards (such as the PBA or NRB), or specialist CPD credit for APS colleges (CCLIN, CEDP, CNS, CHP) and Medicare.

This 1-Day seminar/workshop provides the clinician with a bird’s eye view of emerging changes to the way common childhood disorders are being conceptualised. This 1-Day seminar/workshop provides an in-depth coverage of conceptualisation, assessment, diagnosis & treatment planning for major child & adolescent psychopathologies.
Emerging conditions (such as Internet Addiction / Gaming Disorder and Non-Suicidal Self-Injury) as well as the Childhood precursors to what used to considered 'adult psychopathologies' (such as Personality Disorders and Bipolar Disorder) are highlighted. This course is designed to have immediate applications to your clinical practice with young people.
Note: Other topics can be developed for the needs of specific parent/carer groups and conferences.
