Why are you a Child Psychologist?: Because life is wonderful but also very difficult at times. Through it all, people are amazing. Sometimes we just need another person to help us see the truth, wisdom and strength that are available to us but we can't quite see yet. I love being able to help in that process, especially with kids, teens and parents, because the changes we can make early on will last for a lifetime.
John founded the clinic in order to help people. Since 2004 we have been working with young people and families in greater Western Sydney for 20 years!
Starting out with just two small office rooms in a building on Bessemer Street, Blacktown.

Moving to our current clinic on Richmond Rd, Blacktown in 2009 and having grown from just two clinicians to a dynamic team of child psychologists, educational psychologists, mental health practitioners, and mental health social workers we can now help more people than ever.

Why are you a Child Psychologist?: Working with children brings me so much joy, and I always feel so inspired when I see my young clients progress. I am dedicated and super passionate about making a difference in the field of mental health within my community, and I’m so honoured and blessed to be honing my craft right in Western Sydney. I’ve been welcomed into this world with so much warmth, and I feel like I’m right where I belong.

Favourite Movie as a kid: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Favourite Colour: I love all the colours !
Why are you a Child Psychologist?: With a passion for interpersonal relationships and a curiosity about the human experience, I was naturally drawn to the discipline of psychology. Being a provisional psychologist at John Blythe Child Psychology gives me great joy to be around children and be able to make little difference in their great journey ahead. I believe that the impact of childhood memories and experiences stays with the child lifelong and that I want to make it better in any way possible to equip children with that, one day at a time.

Why are you a Child Psychologist?: Being able to work with children in the field of psychology brings me great pleasure, as we as health professionals are able to see first hand the growth in our clients. Knowing that we can provide children with the support they need is very rewarding. As they grow older they may forget who we are but they will remember what we have done collectively.

Why are you a Child Psychologist?: I always knew I wanted to work in a profession that involved helping others. I picked working with children because having the opportunity to make a positive impact on their wellbeing while they are so young, sounds extremely meaningful to me. I deeply hope that the work I do with children will allow for them to reach their full potential so that they can do amazing things in life.

Why are you a child psychologist: I am dedicated to early intervention and firmly believe that all children should have access to the tools and skills necessary to manage their day-to-day challenges effectively. By helping children and their caregivers gain insight into themselves, including their thoughts, feelings, and behaviours, my aim is to provide them with the resources needed to address difficulties and enhance their overall well-being in a supportive and comforting manner.
